What happened with Winpalace Casino, WinPalacePlay Casino, Grand Macao Casino, Slots of Fortune casino, Jackpot Grand casino, Casino Titan, Golden Cherry Casino, Slots Jungle casino and Begado casino?
What happened? All casinos have been shut down. All funds are seized. All accounts closed.
If you are one of the players who had funds in one of the above casinos then your account is closed, and we hate to say it, but your funds are seized as well, not sure if you’ll ever see a penny of it again.. 🙁
Last June, hackers penetrated the corporate network of JPMorgan — the largest U.S. bank, which had declared two months earlier that it would invest a quarter-billion dollars a year on cyber security.
The hackers managed to mine gigabytes worth of information, including customer account data, undetected until August.
A Bloomberg article on Wednesday linked the two Israeli suspects to the 2014 JPMorgan hack. According to the charges against them, they also hacked into other financial institutions.
Now that they have been arrested, all their operations have been frozen by the FBI. And, unfortunately, this includes the operations of all the above online casinos.
Perhaps not unfortunately for the owners, but very unfortunate for the players who had money in their accounts, but even more so for all the staff working for the casinos, who are honest people, who now all have lost their jobs over this. It’s not even sure if they will get paid for their work this month.
All financial accounts have been seized. This includes all wages for all staff.
What to do?
Depends on who is asking I guess. If you are a player in one of the above casinos with money in your account, I guess it’s best to be patient. I would however (if I were you) take some steps in order to make sure that all is fine. These guys were involved in cyber crime. If you had your personal details / credit card details / other payment details inside of your accounts, there is a good chance that this information has been shared / sold. Change / cancel your credit cards asap. Just to be sure.
Is the whole online casino industry a scam?
Are all online casinos managed and owned by criminals? No, they’re not. Looking at this incident and at the online casino industry as a whole, we can conclude that we are talking about ‘a rotten apple’ in the industry. And, frankly, this rotten apple has been taken away.
I am not saying that all remaining online casinos are to be trusted, but, I am saying that there are indeed very trust able online casino brands who are truly worth your time.
If I may, I would like to recommend opening an account in one of the ‘Club World Casinos’:
In these casinos, I personally guarantee you’ll get certified fair gaming, I’ll guarantee your safety, security and complete privacy.
Guaranteed. Not for no reason that the Club World casinos I just mentioned have been awarded numerous prestigious awards in the online casino industry.
